Museums and Aperitifs – A Quick Phototrip to Milan

Italy’s main town for style, business, fog… Milan is many towns and attracts many stereotypes at the same time. Maybe this is one of its many charms. Another one being that it has much to offer and it suits many different tastes: you just need to ask.

Here is a photographic tour of Milan without many frills: take a look and allow yourself the get charmed by its many sides, and then throw yourself in it and find the Milan which better fits your attitudes. You will love it.

Are you looking for churches and monuments? Start with the unmissable Duomo, spend a visit in Castello Sforzesco and walk to San Lorenzo‘s columns or up to Sant’Ambrogio. More the museum kind? Than you may want to visit the Musuem of 20th Century and the Royal Palace, both in Piazza Duomo, or the Pinacoteca del Brera, the Cenacolo Vinciano, and finally the Museum of Science and Technology. But if you just want to roam and explore the small alleys, Brera is the place you need to be.

Don’t miss the popular ritual of Milan’s happy hour: try an aperitif with a bunch of finger food in the Navigli area or in Corso Como. There is nothing better than a few glasses of wine to prepare yourself for a delicious Italian dinner!

And now… what are you waiting for? Dig in your Milan right now!

Incredibly curious, I found in travels and writing what I need to keep in check my exuberant spirit. I love reading, cooking and whatever is charming and beautiful.

  1. All your photos are amazing. They make me want to be there. So vivid and so beautiful! I’m kinda jealous haha. Last time I was in Milan was long ago and I miss it so much! It’s kinda funny so I hope you like it.
